Dakidnexdoor is a young ambitious rapper from Cape Towm Guguletu under the
company/brand NUV (Native Unit.Volition
http:/www.nativeunitvolition.blogspot.com ) his birth name is Tsepo Ntshuntshe
and he leads his own sub genre of hip hop "PUZZLE/NEW CURRICULUM" ! A
combination of CPT's languages Xhosa, English & Afrikaans fused with his energetic
and continuous rhyme technique.
Dakidnexdoor has opened stages for most of S.A's commercially selling acts,such as the
likes of Khuli Chana & JR, Slikour & Shugasmaxx, Big Nuz, Tira, Teargas, Wilson B
Nkosi, Dj Sbu, Tbo Touch & Jozi!
He has hosted his own shows titled THE BLOCK PARTY & SNEAK UP SESSIONS
which he worked on with REDBULL ,SAVANNA & BLACKBERRY interms of promoting
and branding the events, they have all been crowed pullers proving the street cred
and the number of followers Dakidnexdoor has. He has also worked alongside with Dj
Kaunda (Goodhope FM) & Dj Loyd (Hectic 99) in launching the ROYAL COCKTAIL
FRIDAYS @CAPPELLOS CPT, fusing Poetry, Hip-Hop & House music together in one
place while the cocktail bar specials kept on going.
Dakidnexdoor has performed in places such as Mzoli (World Cup Fan Park) ,
UWC (Mr & Miss), Zula Bar (Battle Of The Arts), CPUT (Mr & Miss), East London
(Annual Carnival & USSA Boxing Championships) & has recently participated in the
Hansa Legends in The Making 2012. Dakidnexdoor has an out titled E.P (Extend Your Patients) which promotes his
upcoming mixtape SNEAK UP which will hit the streets as soon as the E.P reaches
the targeted numbers the NUV TEAM has set.

Dj Mani
Qhamani Xaka AKA DJ Mani was born in a small town called Lady Frere in the Eastern Cape. He moved to Cape Town when he was 4-years old where he grew up in New Crossroads where later his family moved to Lower Crossroads. DJ Mani's passion for house music started late in 2006 when his friend borrowed him a couple of his cd compilations from the likes of DJs @ Work(Christos and Vinny Da Vinci),Mbuso ,Glen Lewis ,T-bose ,DJ Monde and etc but Hip hop has always been his first love though .
With his undeniable love for music and ever growing passion for house music in 2008 he started blending tunes, invested some time in practising flawless mixing, superb track selection in breaking down dance floors. He spent at least four hours in two days per week mastering his art behind the decks,that is where he developed the love for deep house music aside influence from the other sub-genres of house.
As Mani's reputation started growing with some versatility in his approach but more into Afro house, he started playing more frequently across the well known venues around Cape Town's entertainment circuit. In 2010 he Met Lwandiso Kwababana(NUV founder) who took him under his wing because of his talent to be an NU.V DJ/Representative.
Mani thrilled crowds at venues through out the city such as UWC, CPUT(Blvl Campus), African Routes, Imbizo Pub/Restaurant, Chippas (Paarl), Mzoli's, Phungas, Marimba, Victoria Lounge, Atmosphere, 169 , Cafe Mambo, Groova Park, Italian House, Solly's Pub, Brubar, Monate Lounge and etc...While his DJ career grew Mani saw himself sharing the decks with well known superstars such as Black Coffee, Vinny Da Vinci, Kent, Tira, Cndo, Chynaman, Zinhle, Tulz, Fistaz Mixwell,DJ Sbu, Da Capo and etc...The production bug has caught up with him and is now started to develop his own production which you should lookout for , its coming out very soon.

Dj Skara
Luthando Ligwa aka DJ SKARA was born in East London in a town called Mdantsane. He had a passion for music from a very young age and was fortunate enough to be friends with guys who were Dj’s with whom he would tag along to see what happens when they had gigs.
The more he went out to clubs, tshisa nyama’s and witnessed the way people responded to the music played, he then realised what he wanted to do with his life. In 2009 he made the conscious decision that he was going to learn all he can about the Dj’ing career. When Luthando started out he struggled to establish his personal brand and for people to accept him as a Dj but fortunately through him utilizing all his contacts persevering and keeping his ultimate goal in mind, Luthando was then able to master his God given talent, by the end of 2009 he could proudly call himself Dj Skara.
Luthando played for the first time as Dj Skara at a place called Goodies in East London. It being his first time playing to a crowd he was nervous, however he pulled himself together and remembered how bad he had wanted that opportunity. Ultimately he managed to pull off one of his best performances ever.
2010 would be the year that kicked off Dj Skara’s career. He started to play for bigger crowds and people started to discover who Dj Skara was. He played at places such as :( Manz Pub & Braai – MIMIs place – NYATHI). In that same year Dj Skara received an opportunity at a place called Tulamanca Lounge where found himself playing alongside well established Dj’s such as: DJ Clock, Black coffee, Master Jam, Tulz just to name a few.
In 2012 he met the founder of NUV Lwandiso Kwababana, where in that same year he became the Dj Representative of the company Native Unit Volition (NUV).
There is still more to come from Dj Skara, Inborn Passion is the name of the game.

M.O. whose birth name is Odwa Omali was born in a small town known as Willowvale in the Eastern Cape. He lived without his mother for a long period. In 2004 he was to Cape Town so that he could better his education and to be closer to his mother.
As a child music in general has been his first love; he would cry, asking his grandmother to borrow him her radio to listen to hip-hop.
His inspiration came from a rapper then known as “Pro kid” Linda Mkhize, currently known as “Pro”. He found it in his heart to write and about kasi life style and his opinions in life.
In 2004 he started to believe that he can live his dream and express his opinions by writing and performing about Kasi life style. He went on to take some opportunities to perform in a number of high schools in Willowvale.
The year 2012 was the year he lived his dreams by taking a big step, joining the most progressive, recognised and goal orientated force of individuals known as NUV crew, under the mentorship of Dakidnexdoor.
