NUV Urbanwear 2012/13

The idea of NUV Urbarnwear started on 2009 during a period which saw a number of young students clothing brands booming at the University of the Western Cape.

 NUV emerged as the fast growing and unique brand to student without receiving any  financial support. The brand became well known by the UWC students due to the manner in which it represented itself to its market.

What inspired our clothing?

Our clothing is inspired by various forms of art e.g. painting, poetry, hip-hop.

What is the style of our clothing?

Our style is simply urban wear, it comprises of T-shirts, Hoodies, track-suites, vests, long-sleeve T-shirts etc.  

Where are we going?

In the near future NUVbrand will add a sport clothing facet as inspired by a number of South Africa’s top elite athlits, including the Lwandiso Claude Kwababana.

NUVbrand will also be working on high fashion, for now enjoy our 2012-13 range.

Catalog 2013

This Gugulethu designed by NUV was inspired by the pronunciation of the shorter version of the word Gugulethu. The rough finish and the patches on the layout illustrate the dusty and potholes which can be easily seen in Gugulethu. This is another way of NUV to say take pride of your native yards GUGX, you would not be the great individual you are, in spite of all that took place in the past.
